Louis "Sonny" Merchen

Owner & Financial Services Professional

Sonny Merchen is a retirement and legacy planning financial professional based in Gillette, Wyoming, who is passionate about helping hardworking families, retirees, and business owners build confidence in their financial future. Originally from South Dakota, Sonny understands the values of hard work, consistency, and showing up for people. Before entering the financial industry, he came from a blue-collar background himself, which helps him connect naturally with Wyoming families and business owners who work hard for everything they have.

Sonny specializes in retirement income strategies, annuities, business-owner solutions, and multigenerational financial guidance. Clients appreciate that they can always call Sonny and know he will genuinely be there to help. Known for his grounded personality, sense of humor, and calm approach, Sonny focuses on making financial strategies feel personal, practical, and relationship-driven rather than overwhelming or sales-focused.

He got into this business with the goal of changing his family’s future while helping other hardworking people retire with greater confidence and peace of mind. Outside of work, Sonny enjoys spending time with his wife, who teaches at Moorcroft Elementary, supporting his two daughters and son in their sports and activities, watching football, playing cards, and attending country concerts. He also coached basketball for many years and continues to value family, community, and long-term relationships both personally and professionally.

Madison H. Robidart

Madison Robidart is a financial advisor and co-founder of Summit Ridge Financial Group in Gillette, Wyoming, specializing in retirement planning, 401(k) solutions, business retirement plans, and long-term financial organization for families and business owners throughout Wyoming.

Raised in a small town and working in family-owned businesses since she was 12 years old, Madison developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for entrepreneurship early in life. Growing up with a single mom also shaped her passion for helping others create financial stability, build generational wealth, and feel more confident about their future.

Clients appreciate Madison’s honesty, loyalty, and ability to make complex financial topics feel simple and approachable. Known for her caring personality and relatable style, she focuses on building real relationships and helping clients feel informed, organized, and supported through every stage of life.

Madison works closely with business owners, professionals, and families on retirement planning, financial organization, and employee retirement plan strategies. She is especially passionate about supporting women in business and is the founder of Momtrepreneurs of Wyoming, a local group created to help moms in business grow, connect, and feel supported.

Outside of the office, Madison is married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mom to two daughters. She enjoys painting, competitive games and sports, and spending time with her family, including their dog and two cats. While she’s a bit of a tomboy at heart, she also loves creativity, connection, and helping people feel genuinely cared for.
